this is the 3rd episode i actually cried in, it shouldn’t have ended that way
Wow the ending was for to emotional, i forgot all about the ramen so after see’ing that , it kind of suprized me,

Menma actually wanted to die so he could punish imself of all the bad thing he has done or something like that. That’s why he pushed Naruto off the cliff so he could NOT do kage bushin to do it in his place. So every body who asn’t understood that is a fucking MORON!

First DO NOT READ SOME SPOILER ALERT:
Ok to everyone out there askin on “Y he didn’t just make a clone” I have a few guesses.
1. They are shadow clones and though extremely realstic they can’t use any chakra based attacks until shippuden when he can evenly divide his chakra enough so each one of his clones can use a chackra attack.
2. He didn’t really have enough time to think it threw (which we no Narutos not a very fast thinker) and by the time Menma said he was going to sacrafice himself, he threw Naruto off the cliff. And only had one hand to make a symbol with. Probably becuase if he was going to die he wanted to die for the greater good since he couldnt live with the memories of the villagers and wanted to repay and what better way than by what he did. You see what im saying.
3.BECUASE JAPANS JUST THAT WAY.
BTW if there was ever a character I thought would match Link (LOZ) it would no doubt be Menma. And he plays an Ocriana so there ya go. I did get kinda teary eyed though. SHows Naruto can still live up to the promises. I also have other educated guesses for these type of things so contact me on my(or my studios) Youtube account Greeneyetreemonkeys1. OMG *sniff* that is the third episode that has made me cry so far
1.when hinata and neji fought in the chuunin exams, i thought it was sad how she wouldnt give up but she still lost any way
2.when sasuke leaves the village and sakura tries to stop him, i cried since she even told him how she felt and yet all he did was knock her unconscious that bastard!
3. this ep,i would have probably did what naruto did too with the ramen

That’s naruto for ya it is the best and menma dying is sort important thing because if your are willing to die for a really good cause then your death will never be in vain it will pass down in the ages that you and countless others that you are a hero.
I think it was nessecary for Menma to die. Naruto will become stronger because of that experience and Naruto is what this show is all about….
Sure he might have been able to use a shadow clone, but then this episode wouldn’t be significant to Naruto. Like Lady Tsunade said, “It is important for Naruto to deal with loss, it makes him stronger”

i felt so moved after watching this! Menma is a hero!!! he was cool why did he have to die!!! the only other episode i felt so moved was in gaaras flashback. oh well gaaras in the next episode and only five more to shippuden!!!!!
