He was also able to defeat Kakashi and leave him unconscious for a week with his Mangekyo Sharingan

    Backing up sterile, I would also like to add that Itachi stands among the few shinobi Orochimaru could never beat, which is part of the reason he left Akatsuki and part of the reason he’s after Sasuke. If he could have defeated and controlled Itachi like he did Sasuke, he would have the Sharingan by now.

    Also, damn you people sure like to hate the one character that had to grow more than anyone else! If Naruto was an uber ninja like Sasuke or Kakashi or even Gai, he would win more often, more easily, and a hell of a lot less entertainingly (I mean come on, who doesn’t smirk at “One Thousand Years of Pain?”

    You can pretty much tell that I have no life because nobody else noticed that when Sasuke came out (during the genjutsu) his eye wasn’t black. Whenever he’s in second state, his eyes are black.
