itachi is more powerful the sasuke, it’s very clear. no doubt. what itachi did is he’s trying to test if sasuke is powerful enough to pursue their fight against konoha. in fact zetsu is watching the fight between the two uchihas and he is wondering if itachi is not trying to get away those clear attacks of sasuke. even pain can’t handle itachi for sure and madara is scared of itachi. deidara is just for how many seconds defeated by itachi and orochimaru too. itachi is the most powerful among the akatsuki group.

plz read the manga and know what happens IN the manga before trying to spoil things for people, such as someone trying to say that Tobi is Obito Uchiha when in fact he is Madara Uchiha, one of the most dangerous ninjas to ever live before Hashirame Senju wounded him.
@hinatka13: The first hokage (Hashirame Senju) is the one who supposedly killed Madara (but of course is not true, but he did wound him badly enough that he doesn’t have enough power to carry out his plans single-handedly) and the statues are not there because they think the first hokage won and killed madara. The statues are there to represent the legendary fight between the two creators of the leaf village and is where Madara finally made a stand against the leaf village, only to be beaten, but escape alive and eventually become a Mizukage and the leader of Akatsuki. And the best source of information about all of this is to read the Manga starting from these episodes all the way to the current one (471) and by reading to about 468 or 469 you will find out what my name means/is.

Pain is being manipulated by madara Uchiha..and MadaraUchiha is Tobi of the Akatsuki. So, the true leader of the akatsuki is Madara, not Pain. And since Madara is pretending to be Tobi, the true leader is therefore Tobi. And that is why in the previous episodes tobi was sitting on his own statue..the statue of Madara Uchiha, on that river with the two statues.
