If you read the manga series *which is wwwwaaayyy farther ahead* you will learn from Jiraiya the real name of his mother and his father *the 4th* and that Jiraiya is the godfather of Naurto, just before Jiraiya dies. Oh and two other people die as well that are in the main story line *not including the members of the akatsuki that do not matter, oh itachi dies as well* reading is better.

     LOL, simpler than chidori? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? HOLLY COW. seriously, kakashi could not use the rasengan to the full potential, 1 burst and his probably out. The chidori is easier than rasengan. Even Tsunade had doubts that naruto could preform it through-out the whole thing and the reason why Tsunade states that only the Fourth and Jiraya could do it and not Kakashi its cause kakashi probably cant fully use it on someone which requires alot of power which kakashi doesnt have because he probably cant keep the rasengan going with his low level chakra.(only presuming here but one thing is for certain, kakashi wont and cant use rasengan on some1). Also, rasengan is already as powerful as it is, its already stronger than chidori. Even sasuke admitted it when naruto and sasuke was fighting on the hospital roof and both rasengan and chidori hit the water tank and at the end, sasuke saw that naruto’s technique surpasses his. Though sasuke beating naruto in their final clash in the valley of the end was because sasuke’s power grew 10 fold and so the chidori evolved into habatake chidori (it means flapping 1,000 birds). With the new power, he managed to beat naruto although it was first one to hit the other so that ment that at that time, chidori was equally as strong as rasengan (note: the rasengan was created with 1 arm by naruto which would be extremely difficult because he is used to using a shadow clone) so yeah, i guess my little rant went abit too far…….
